On the last Thursday of June 2008, I turned in work which was then telephone conferenced with five other writers on the First Thursday of July. For the next 11 months I will be doing the same, uploading my 30 pages of manuscript, plus whatever else Vannucci may dictate necessary on one Thursday for telephone review and critique on the following Thursday. Beat the Book is the name of the writing project/task force I’ve paid the fee to be a part of — a project I hope will force me to focus on “Irene.”
I’ll use this private “blog” to post reworked chapters of my Irene Project. Please, don’t feel obligated to read any of my postings. On the other hand, I’d love it if you did and told me what worked and what failed.
